Little Pros Nutrition Program
Little Pros Academy provides a quality early childhood program focused on the successful total development of young children. Ensuring high standards regarding the health and nutrition of the children in the program is very important. In addition to using the Meal Patterns for Children in Child Care Programs, which was created by the USDA and approved by the NC Child Care Commission, Carol Mitchell, Ph.D., R.D., L.D.N., from North Carolina State University, also reviewed, gave suggestions, and approved the menus used at Little Pros Academy. MenusAll LPA menus run in 5 weekly cycles. They are distributed to every family and are posted in every classroom and outside of the kitchen.
